I have been trying to find a way to have all calendar items expaned by
default when a user looks at the calendar. So far I have not been
able to find a way with the basic configuration tools. I have
downloaded the SharePoint designer trial and do not see a way to do it
through there either. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by expanded? Do you wish to display more information
on the calendar than just the title?

Thanks for the reply.

Say a single date has more than 4 items (or one item is particularly
long) you end up with an "# more items" with a down arrow. You click
the down arrow and the calendar expands to show all items on all
days. You can also do this by hitting the "expand all" link toward
the upper portion of the calendar.

The problem is my users either don't notice or don't care and some do
not choose to expand the calendar to show all items. I have taken a
screen shot to better illustrate what I am trying to change.

Thanks for any help available. Just as a note this is WSS3 on a
SBS2003 Standard server.

Stephen emailed me with two possible solutions that were over my
head. One involved writing or modifying the Java code to click expand
all when the page is loaded. The other was creating a custom
webpart. I have no idea where to begin on either solution. I was
hoping for an easier "Click this to turn that off" type solution.

Anyone got any ideas on where to begin?
