LIST not viewable by anonymous users

I exported a simple access table directly to sharepoint. I set the
permissions on the list to allow anonymous users to "VIEW" the
content. When I try an access as anonymous, i get a request for
login credentials. I don't know what i'm missing.

Hi,
I assume you've set up your sharepoint to allow anonymous access, right?
If so check if you did it correctly:

After that I would suggest checking your browser settings - does anonymous
logon is enabled there? (security tab in your IE)
